Artmaking During a Global Pandemic

I haven't had a DeviantArt journal update in years. So much has happened in my life as both a person and a continuously growing art educator, but here are the main bullet points: I got married to the love of my life in 2019! We have two furbabies: Newt & Korra, our black and white harlequin cats, and I wouldn't want to have to social distance/self-isolate with anyone else! I've switched schools. I was teaching middle school for the first 5 years of my teaching career, but I've been happily teaching high school for the last 3 years in a small rural town. I can't fully decide, but I really think I like teaching high school more than middle school. I've been trying my hand at new artmaking techniques. I've been practicing with my watercolors more, but I have also FINALLY gotten Procreate for the iPad Pro, and I've been practicing hard with that as well. I also got a Cricut and have been working on crafting. My creative juices are free-flowing, and I'm so thrilled. I've also been writing

Gallery Cleanup

I've decided that I would clean up my featured gallery. I had SO much old stuff in there, stuff that was done 10+ years ago. I archived anything that was 10 years or older to a folder called "Really Really Old Stuff". I can't bring myself to delete it all because this is the only place I have most of that stuff saved, but I no longer need it featured on my page ha. It still exists, in case anyone cares to see how far I've come in the last 13 years.
